The amended procurement contracts MAPA are specific to the medical sector, health, pharmaceutical, hospital, hospital center

The amended procurement contracts procedure concerns purchases between € 25 000 and € 209 000 pre-tax price for supplies and services and between € 25 000 and € 5 225 000 pre-tax price for works contracts.

Unlike the tender procedure, amended procurement contracts procedure is a much more flexible procedure for the public buyer. There is no minimum time limit imposed by the French Public Procurement Code (CMP) to file its bid, so it is at the discretion of the public buyer.

It is the public buyer who lays down the rules for this procedure, hence the name "amended procedure". So there are as many amended procurement contracts as there are public buyers.
